I never knew you like rodents that much! Stop reaching for that mouse as if it’s your best friend!

Here’s 2 keyboard short cuts that are so ingrained that I forgot that everyone doesn’t know about it.  Someone was working with me on the pc and they were amazed about these 2 shortcuts.  Now they swear by them.  Here they are:

GO BACK TO THE PREVIOUS SITE:

  • Use ALT + the LEFT ARROW

Go to a new site QUICKLY:

  • Use F6 to highlight the addressbar (nice, huh?)
  • FORGET the “http://www.”  and the “.com” and just type in the main website word (i.e. just type “essistme”)
  • Hit CTRL + ENTER
  • Internet Explorer automatically inserts the http://www. and .com at the end of the word you just typed and goes to that site!
