Samsung has released system software update for Blackjack i607 on AT&T Wireless / Cingular

If you have the Samsung Blackjack, you may want to book mark this page with a system software update from Samsung.

Among other things, it re-brands the phone for AT&T Wireless and gets rid of the Cingular swoooosh start-up.

Samsung has recently released a software update for the BlackJack, which is recommended to be installed. This update should enhance roaming capabilities, especially Internationally. In addition, there are cosmetic user interface changes (several icons have been changed) contained within the update. The update will take about 10 minutes to complete if the system is already set up.”

1. Go to the SGH-i607 (BlackJack) page on Samsung’s website
2. Click on Software from the grey box on the right. Popup blockers must be disabled or the file will not download.
3. Download the file & save it to your hard drive.
