14 Foot Tall Samsung Blackjack

It seems like the Blackjack is really picking up speed in taking up mindshare.  I see or hear mentions of it more and more wherever I go these days.

I saw this 14 foot tall Samsung Blackjack while driving into the Lincoln Tunnel in New York City the other day and of course it caught my eye — however disappointed I was when I got closer . . .

‘Caution: This object contains a “reply all” feature’

Personally, I think the copywriters for this ad took a long lunch break the day they wrote this billboard ad.  Yes, I get it…the Samsung Blackjack can do email + and the “reply all” feature makes the Blackjack cell phone “dangerous”….or rather, would it make the Samsung Blackjack and it’s owner super-annoying?  Who likes those newbies and/or clueless that constantly use “reply all” even for personal questions back to the email sender that are not meant to be broadcast to the entire list?  That’s the point?  That’s the best that they could do to promote Windows Mobile Outlook on a Blackjack?  C’mon!

Beside the point that I think everyone knows that if you show a photo of a pda/smartphone/cell phone with a qwerty keyboard that email is one of the things it can do.  There’s tons of PRACTICAL things that the Blackjack can do to make you much more productive that most people never thought about in a cell phone . . .

How about showcasing things about the Blackjack smartphone that you never knew or thought about regarding cell phones?

Like live streaming TV & video.

Or XM satellite radio?

Or access any of 2 million+ songs?

Or interactive maps with real-time traffic?

Or that your Blackjack IS an mp3 player that makes carrying your iPod totally unnecessary?

Or take real video clips that’s limited in length only by the memory card you have?  Or watching your tivo recordings on your cell phone?

Or listen to audiobooks to kill time during your commute?

Or get free 411 directory assistance?

Or use it as a wireless near-dsl speed modem for your laptop?

Or sync not only your email, contacts, tasks, calendar, but also sync FILES (like a flash drive!)? 

Or simply that’s it’s the best-selling smartphone right now?

Or you can get instant traffic, weather and other local news from tv stations?

Or convert your home movies or any other video files for that matter to watch on your Blackjack?

Or that you can tell your Blackjack to do things and it will listen?

Or…
