Back when I purchased my Tivo, I bit the bullet and purchased the “Lifetime Subscription Plan” for $250 or something close to that.   In hindsight, it was kind of comical that I was even weighing whether or not it was worth it.  Basically you had to use Tivo for 24 months to break even.  Seemed like a long time for a “new” technology back then — before it was proven that the company had staying power in the market.

 

Now it turns out to be a great decision because Tivo took away the Lifetime option to new owners.  However, there’s pre-paid plans that really make it worthwhile to invest upfront in a similar manner for the Tivo Subscription Service, which basically makes it more than 50% off or if you look at it another way, you get 1 year of TiVo service FREE!

 

 

 

 

 

This is one opportunity where you really must get over that couch potato inertia holding you back and just click the mouse and purchase the pre-paid discount plan right now.  Stop throwing money out the window TODAY.  You’ll thank me later, I promise you on this one.
