I in love with the fact that my Blackjack kills the need for me to buy or carry around an iPod.  Just one less device to worry about, charge, carry, manage, etc.

But the 3 bluetooth headsets we have in the house don’t allow me to stream music from my Blackjack to the bluetooth headset wirelessly.  That’s because the Samsung Blackjack DOES support A2DP streaming music support via a bluetooth connection, but the headsets should too.  So much for buy all those el cheapo headsets.

I finally came across a bluetooth headset that is A2DP compatible, works like a charm and as an added super bonus, has a noise-canceling technology that’s simply AMAZING.  Of course it works with any bluetooth capable cell phone like the Blackberry, Razor, and Treo.

It’s the Jawbone bluetooth headset.  You have to hear to for yourself to believe it.  In fact you can right now.  Just go to the JawBone website and they have a demo showing the noise cancelation feature turned on and off in a video.

You need to a flashplayer enabled browser to view this YouTube video

Cingular / AT&T Wireless sells the Jawbone in their stores for $120.  On eBay, they are going for $110-115 or even more (why would people pay that + shipping if they can get it at the store for less?)

I was just about to head over to the store this weekend to buy one because it simply would change the total experience I have with my Blackjack, not just for music streaming.  However, I happened to find one online retailer that is selling them – at a $40 discount.  Once you see the demo, you’ll be ready to shell out the money to pick one of these up.

You can pick one up for $50 off right now:

  • Just go to ecost
  • and search for item #36704721.
