So here’s a clear example of how the iPhone hype has gotten out of control.

Speculation of an iPhone Nano model at $299 based on a new Apple patent issued in July made everyone smile — actually it make everyone go bonkers about the next iPhone.  But like everything else that sounds too good to be true. . .

It just ain’t so, says JP Morgan in a retraction that was issued.

 

 

They kept focus on a 3G iPhone as the next model to be released in 2008, if not a little earlier.  Hey, that’s not a bad fallback position to dream about, its it!
