I found yet another great review of the Samsung Blackjack on AT&T Wireless was published by ubergizmo.com and you can’t get much better or detailed than this review.  It seems like nothing can hold up to this smartphone when compared side by side — like they did in the review with the Motorola Q.

 

The review goes into great detail for every major function which puts the Blackjack over the MotoQ almost every time:

  • Battery life
  • Data connect
  • Text/Email
  • Phone
  • Keyboard
  • Web browsing

 

There was one great fact that every Blackjack owner should know about IM services on the phone – “If you use the integrated MSN messenger on Cingular, each message will be considered as an SMS and charged as such. Consider it before starting a long conversation :) “  I believe this is with most IM applications on cell phones these days, so beware.

But if you have the $20 or $30 MediaMax plan, it shouldn’t really matter, unless you’re texting all day with people — in which case, I guess you’re already subscribed to one of the larger or unlimited text message plans already.

 

 

One of the final comments sums it all up: “Anyhow, this is exactly what the Motorola Q should have been”
