A little while ago, I came across a wonderful site called DivShare.com for image hosting.  It was been pretty well accepted and they put out a neat WordPress Plugin that basically allows me to upload images or videos from the WP Compose page and the insert it into the blog post directly.

 

 

But now I’ve been experiencing a lot of problems with DivShare recently such as seeing a 404 error for the DivShare Uploader WordPress Plug-in module.

Or when it does show up, I am not able to upload images from the plug-in.   I have to open a new browser, log into divshare, upload the file, go back to the WP compose a new post page and then click on MY FILES within the Divshare Uploader module and then insert the image that way.  NOT how it is supposed to be.

 

 

Yes, yes, I know I can re-download the plug-in to re-install, but I can’t do that now…

 

 

This past 2 weeks, there have been times where I can’t log-in to my DivShare.com account at all – it will just hang.  When I do get in, I can’t get to the Upload page — it will just take forever or hang eventually.  Or even worse like today, I get a 500 Server Error when trying to go to www.DivShare.com in IE or FireFox.  NOT GOOD.

The major downside is that all my blog posts with images/video/audio hosted at DivShare come up with broken placeholders.

 

 

It’s been a pretty good and reliable solution until recently.  Is it time for me to look for another solution?   What’s going on?  Does anyone else have any simliar experiences with DivShare?
