4 Gigs for Emailing..for Christmas
Christmas is all about expecting the unexpected.
Hope, Peace, Love and Joy. And the beauty of gifts.
Merry Christmas everyone!
This season is one where people discover the essence of gift exchange. Giving and receiving.
Google seems to be in the holiday spirit and has been in the giving mood with it’s Gmail service. . .
Ever since Google rocked the webmail world by offering 1GB email accounts for free, users supposedly don’t have to go through and do spring cleaning every month or so to keep their mailboxes under imposed limits of “free account” status — and thus rely even more on the Google Search feature within the Gmail interface.
It’s been awhile since Gmail was launched and logging into my gmail.com account online (which I rarely do, since I use the POP mail feature usually with Outlook or my email reader on my cell phone) — I noticed a quiet change to the email archive limitations from Google.
It’s now a whopping 4 GIGABYTES of space for my email!
YES, I actually do search & destroy sweeps to clean out much of the spam and unwanted junk from various community email lists I subscribe to, but 4 GB of free email storage is very useful.
