Sometimes you just need to mix it up a bit and have some fun in life.

That goes for your e-life online as well.  As in Twitter and Facebook.

One of the best ways to get noticed and flip people out once in awhile is to literally do just that:

Here’s how. . .

A neat little site called FlipText.com lets you simply type in any line of text you want and in real-time it generates the corresponding character sets with upside down text.

When you are done with your text, simply highlight and copy/paste the text from the 2nd text box into Twitter or Facebook status updates.  Voila!

This is how it looks like when you Tweet it to your Twitterverse.  Everything comes out nice and clean — just all upside down!

Another great tip for Twitter and Facebook status updates is to use Google Translate and produce foreign language updates that make sense (usually) in a tongue that you might know, or just plainly have no clue about:

Just imagine being able to post status updates in one of these languages:

Albanian

Arabic

Bulgarian

Catalan

Chinese

Croatian

Czech

Danish

Dutch

English

Estonian

Filipino

Finnish

French

Galician

German

Greek

Hebrew

Hindi

Hungarian

Indonesian

Italian

Japanese

Korean

Latvian

Lithuanian

Maltese

Norwegian

Polish

Portuguese

Romanian

Russian

Serbian

Slovak

Slovenian

Spanish

Swedish

Thai

Turkish

Ukrainian

Vietnamese

If you don’t get noticed with this tip, either your network is just way way out there  or you are twittering in a vacuum!
