Samsung Blackjack Tip: Secret OEM Tech Support Telephone Number

Today I encountered an issue with my Samsung Blackjack. I was not able to sync with my laptop’s Outlook data. It gave me all kinds of trouble.
I tried to reinstall Microsoft Active Sync using the CD that came with the Samsung Blackjack when I bought from Cingular months ago. It had problems installing and failed each time. So since I already uninstalled Active Sync on my laptop I tried to reinstall Active Sync 4.5 from the web. Still no luck.

In Jared Sandberg’s Wall Street Journal “Cubicle Culture” column last week, he write about the all-too-common cellphone “oops” we all have encountered — the acceidental call when the phone is in your pocket or bag.
Actually just this week, when driving with my Dad in the car, I heard repeated “snapshot” clicks from somewhere. It turns out that his camera phone was taking photos everytime he shifted in the seat because of the the inadvertent key clicks.
All of this accidental activity can be avoided (not to mention extend battery life!) easily if you just learned how to use the keyguard feature on the Samsung Blackjack cell phone. Microsoft Windows Mobile Interactive Demo of Samsung Blackjack for AT&T

If you’re still not an owner of the Samsung Blackjack and need more convincing, Microsoft has an interactive demo that drills down most of the major features of Windows Mobile on the smartphone.
You’ll see things like how the Samsung Blackjack i607 works with Microsoft Office Mobile with Outlook, Bluetooth connectivity, etc.
It’s a very clean, basic introduction to the Blackjack cell phone.

The Samsung Blackjack Can Take a 8GB MicroSD Card

Samsung has done it again. If you’ve ever seen a MicroSD card in person, you probably droped your jaw at first. The memory card is so SMALL!
I personally use a 1GB MicroSD Card in my Samsung Blackjack cell phone. So far it’s been enough, but I’m really looking forward to the 8GB Micro SD Card…why? Read the rest of this entry »
