How To Use Microsoft Outlook with Gmail Accounts
One of the great parts about Gmail is that you can use any desktop email reader to manage your Gmail for free. Yahoo!Mail charges for this feature. Gmail gives you POP email access to your Gmail email account, so you can configure your Outlook to read & send email utilizing your Gmail email address. It’s really easy to set-up an additional email account profile in Outlook — so when you check your email, it will now check your gmail account too and download the messages to your Outlook Inbox. And when you compose a new email, you can then choose to send it “from” your gmail account.
