Scan Blogs While Reading Your Gmail (How to add “webclips”)
One of the neat features of Gmail is a one liner at the top of your “Inbox” called “Webclips” — it auto-refreshes and rotates headlines from various interesting sites on the web. A great function of Webclips in Gmail is that you can customize the feed so that it can scan your favorite blogs too.
I love this feature since there are a lot of blogs out there that I discover and like, but who as time to read them all, even if you put them into your feedreader. This is a great way to catch some of the headlines from various blogs you want to follow while doing a task you do everyday – check your Gmail email.
How to add a new blog to the Web Clips list in Gmail:
- Go to SETTINGS (at the top right of the Gmail user account window)
- Click on the WEB CLIPS tab

- Click on ADD next to each search result you want to add to the Web Clips list
