Video Review of Blockbuster Video “Total Access” vs. NetFlix for DVD Rentals
There’s a lot of hype about Blockbuster’s “NetFlix Killer” service which is basically a copy cat service + a few more features. Check out this video review:
I’ve started my own trial, received my first 3 DVD’s within 1 business day, and now about to return them at my local Blockbuster Video Store to get 3 free in-store rentals and hopefully they’ll ship out the next 3 in “MY Q” – the list I’ve created of videos that I want shipped to me from Blockbuster’s Total Access service. One neat feature about the “MY Q” feature is that you can select movies that have-yet-to-be-released so that when they do come out, they’ll automatically join the list. You don’t have to remember to come back and select those videos at blockbuster.com
If you have a local Blockbuster store around you, this is definitely a better deal than Netflix since you basically get double the videos (each mailer can be exchanged for a free additional in-store video rental at your local store) + 1 (free additional printable game or video coupon is available in your account each month).
